Dry Goods & Dry Van Freight
Palletised dry freight, packaging, equipment and general commodities on 53′ vans out of Selma, California.
Not Everything Needs a Reefer
Plenty of freight moving through this valley does not need temperature control at all – packaging headed to a shed, palletised dry goods going to a distributor, equipment moving between sites, dried product that just needs to stay dry and secure.
We haul it. Spider Trans runs dry van alongside our refrigerated work, on the same terms: full truckload, our trucks, direct from pickup to delivery.

Dry Freight We Move
Palletised general freight
Standard palletised goods moving between manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
Packaging and shed supplies
Cartons, clamshells, trays, bins and pallets moving into packing operations — freight the Valley runs constantly and nobody talks about.
Dried agricultural product
Raisins, tree nuts, dried fruit and processed product where the concern is moisture, contamination and security rather than cold.
Equipment and parts
Agricultural equipment, components and machinery that fits a standard van and does not need specialised rigging.
Packaged consumer goods
Non-perishable retail and wholesale product on standard pallets.
Building and industrial materials
Palletised or crated materials within standard van dimensions and weight limits.
What we do not run: flatbed, step deck, tanker, hazmat, or oversize. If your freight needs any of those, we are not your carrier and we will say so on the first call instead of wasting your afternoon.

Why Ship Dry Freight With Us
The same standard as our food-grade work
Trailers used for food-adjacent freight are kept to the cleanliness standard our refrigerated work requires. That is a higher bar than most dry-van-only carriers hold.
Full truckload only
No terminals, no cross-docking, no handling between origin and destination.
Local, so short notice works
Fifteen minutes to Kingsburg, Parlier and Fowler. Half an hour to most of Fresno. Under an hour to Visalia and Hanford.
Straight answers on capacity
We tell you the same day whether we can cover your load.
The Freight Nobody Writes About
Packing sheds cannot run without packaging, and packaging has to arrive before the fruit does. Cartons, clamshells, trays, field bins and pallets move into this valley in enormous volume every season, and it is unglamorous, deadline-driven freight that has to be there on time or the line stops.
It is also freight that most carriers treat as filler. We do not — a shed waiting on cartons in August has exactly the same urgency as a load of fruit leaving it, and we schedule it that way.

Dry Freight in a Reefer
We will happily run dry freight in a refrigerated trailer with the unit switched off when it suits the schedule, and it does not cost you extra. In practice this often means we can cover a dry load at short notice when the dry van is committed elsewhere.
The reverse is not true — a dry van cannot take temperature-controlled freight, so reefer loads always need reefer equipment.
