What We’ve Done
This site was built with accessibility as a requirement rather than an afterthought:
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure — one
h1per page, headings in order - Descriptive alternative text on images
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA for text
- Full keyboard navigability with visible focus indicators
- A skip link to jump straight to main content
- Forms with properly associated labels
- Responsive layout that works at 200% zoom and on small screens
- No content that flashes, auto-plays or moves unexpectedly
- Information never conveyed by colour alone
Conformance
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We assess this through a combination of automated and manual testing. We are not claiming certification by a third party.
